Don't denie it. They fricking owned.

I mean Nintendo's confrence was aload of dog balls and all Microsoft proved they could do is copy the Wii and gain a PS3 game because they don't have any faith in their 1st party.

SONY pushed boundaries here

- 256 people online in 1 game = HUGE

- Infamous = HUGE

- Video Store tonight = HUGE

- LBP = HUGE

- Resistance 2 = Literally HUGE

1: Wow 256 people, we have those... they're called MMO's I've participated in PC & NPC battles vs Enemy invaiders on a scale of 200 PC's vs at least a few hundred enemies in other words YAWN
2: what is Infamous? I never even heard of it..
3: Video store... vs Netflix.. let's see fledgling vs a service people ALREADY own? Rent movies for under 10$ a month of pay 6 $ per rental wow... the choices.
4: LBP - I'm actually interested in this...
5: Looks extremely generic, pretty graphics but very standard stuff otherwise.

I think Microsoft was the only conference that dropped a bomb. The Nintendo one didn't even seem to try, though I am interested in the new 1:1 motion and mildly interested in animal crossing & the mic thing. Sonys conference was trying and kinda felt bland. I have to give it to Microsoft even though I think they're the most evil out of the three corporations.

1. Never done on consoles

2. You're joking?

3. Has it been confirmed that you will have unlimited HD movie downloads for $10 bucks a month? If so that's definitely a huge advantage over PSN's $3 for SD rentals and $6 for HD rentals.

4. Me too

5. I can say the same about Gears 2

Microsoft definitely won E3 with the big bomb though.

Please show me what I made up? I'm actually curious.
I don't hate on Sony, I just hate the complete insanity that goes with SOME Sony fanboys.

In the second e3 chat you said Sony was hyping Killzone2, which is a lie, Sony and GG show just about nothing for this game.  Even the official killzone site has just about nothing on it.  The official Sony forums for Killzone2 also have about nothing on Killzone2. The PSN only has two trailers for Killzone2 even.

E305-  The first showing with a CGI video of what Killzone2 maybe like.
E307- They show one level during the Sony conference, with a couple videos leaked during the conference of the same level but farther in.
leipzig 07- The have a 25min developer walk through of part of the level shown at E3.
Gamers day 08- They show part of the sceond level in a demo that was playable for media people.  Several videos come out of the same part on various websites. There also also several 5-10mins talks with GG developers about Killzone2, between now and E3.
e308- Some more videos of the later half of the level shown at gamers day, Killzone2 was not even a major part of this E3 sony conference, they showed it for several seconds when they showed what was coming out on the PS3.

Thats not very much for 3 years.

Where did I say that SONY was hyping the game? I said that the game was hyped. The fans hype it. Here's the quote:

BengaBenga: Killzone 2 can only fail with so much hype It's insane. Both the quality and sales that people expect this game to have is beyond reasonable.

It's quite clear I wasn't talking about Sony.
If that's all you can come up with to show I'm making things up you might as well not have said it.

imo sony won hands down. NIntendo was just a joke, showing of some lame titles and nothing else. Microsoft well they just ripped off the wii, and some sony games. THey did get ff13, however the game will come to ps3 as well and people with the ps3 will be able to enjoy it.

God of war 3
resistance 2
alot of psn games
alot of psp games
MAG
Infamous
ratchet and clank
siren
little big planet
+ some other ps3 games

there was some old games, but also some new ones

microsoft on the other hand showed off gears of war 2, fable 2 and banjo(nothing new)

star ocean 4, last remnant, and infitite discovery.(nothing new)

RIP OFF GAMES

and the only good thing about the microsoft confernece was ff13.

nintendo sucked monekey balls. wii music was probably the lamest thing i've ever seen.

Good performance, but against the FF news is just average...

Not even close.

Nothing worthwhile save for a God of War 3 teaser.

Whoop de shit!

Have to totally and utterly agree with you there.

Sony won. They used LBP to demonstrate sales numbers, at the same time. I think that was a neat idea. The Leviathan boss its okay, but its meh... The concept of MAG is ( lame name btw ) awesome, 256 players is just crazy, a year ago i was thinking 32 players and 40 players ( warhawk and resistance respectively ) was amazing. Only on the PS3. New video store that launches TONIGHT is good, i'll be for my debit cards soon. That's much better than having to wait for 360's Netflix deal this fall ( BTW you have to be a gold live member AND a Netflix subscription, and its STREAMED movies. wtf )
Even though the simpletons are blabbing dribble about FFXIII, consider this, when the japanese playstation 3 version is done ( who knows when ) thats when they will begin porting for the 360, at the same time that they would be translating the game ( when? ) Also expect more than one inferior dvd to be juggled around by xbots ( Lost Odyssey = three dics, no? ) Although it is the biggest BURN.

Ps sony wins

All i care about microsoft's camp is Gears 2 and Fable 2, because sawing a locust in half is badass, and i played the crap out of fable 1 ( evil red eyed fire mage + assassin clothing is bad ass ) Everything else was multiplatforms ( RE5 first time on an xbox WOW ) and a shitload of jrpgs ( Last Remnant, Star Ocean, Infinite Undiscovery, and a multiplat FFXIII, wtf, i thought microsoft was an american company ) two games is all i want, and will more than likely cough up $$$ for a cheap 360 ( arcade ) What? I don't let cheap fanboyism get in the way of good gaming. I'll stick to Sony and one time install for FFXIII, would feel weird playing the game on an american company. All multiplat's will be on my PS3 regardless from now on, RE5, Faloout, Dead Space, what, i like protective coating on blu rays : ).

Sony easily came last IMO. They needed something to show they could "change the trends", but instead all we got is "We believe we are right, and will stay our course".

MS gave us a mix between AAA titles, casualisation of the 360, BluRay countering (lots of online content/movies) - and a kick in the guts to Sony.

Nintendo will do their "hardcore" thing later, and are showing us the next wave of "casual" titles, including new hardware.

There is no question some good (pretty!) games are coming from Sony - and they are moving some of their brands to the PSP as well. But their strategy has not changed, nor looks like changing - and I see this as a big flaw (possibly fatal, time will tell).

...

Of everything, WiiMotion + was the most significant at E3.

We got NO new controllers from MS (camera / mic from MS) or Sony - and Ninty effectively countered the Newton (or anything else) with a "$20" peripheral, bundled with a game that everyone would buy anyway.

Last year, Ninty focused on WiiFit - everyone laughed, yet look where it is now (on the charts). This year was about Motion + & Mic - I can just see the charts next year.

...

Sony seem "determined" to stay "hardcore" - and good luck to them (and their fans). If this is what people want from them, and end up happy - then I guess it works out for everyone. But personally, I'd much rather be in Ninty's place (with their conference) than in Sony's. (MS are just showing off how deep their pockets are ;)

Continuing:

The biggest "trend shifting" danger this year, was that MS or Sony would introduce a "WiiMote" like controller, and steal Nintendo's market. This has not happened, and because of "WiiMotion +" becomes much, much harder to do - or sell to the public.

The "danger" for Nintendo has passed, and this generation is now set in stone IMO.

The interest from here is: will the casualisation of the 360 boost its long-term sales, to the point where it can outsell the PS3 over this generation. I don't see any chance of it threatening the Wii, but I don't see that as MS's intention at the moment - Sony comes first.

I disagree, Nintendo was last IMO (though they really didn't need to show up for E3 with their sales numbers), Sony 2nd and MS 1st. The only reason MS was 1st was because of FFXIII IMO.
