I love how Sony gives us a new IP and everyone ignores it. How can MS possibly win when they only show new casual games as their new IP's? MAG > Movie Maker. Sony won this year, just like last. E3 is about gamers, please realize this.

As a gamer, I saw it this way:

MS: copied some stuff, get access to another JRPG. Meh. Not excited. Their biggest announcement was that they get seconds on FF13? Lame. Not gonna bite.

Nintendo: Fun stuff, some goofy stuff I might pick up because yeah, Nintendo is fun. Kinda excited. Ninty wants my $... I think I will give them some.

Sony: GoW3, MAG, PSP Resistance, R&C: QfB, good looking PSP sports, ...awesome. Bring it -- you have more of my $ incoming. Pretty excited.

Zen. Bring it down a notch. You are one of my most respected posters on this site, but I must disagree with you. If MS announcing FFXIII going multi-plat is a win, was it a win in E3 06 when MS took GTA IV? Did Nintendo lose that year?

 its funny how 360 owners are all of sudden clamoring to final fantasy after downplaying it for the past 2 years..saying its not that important...

Microsoft BUYING FFXIII for US and EU is impressive and must have cost alot more than it is going to make for them, seriously no X360 will really care about this unless they have played FinalFantasy from the PS2 or PS1 or SNES or NES. Look at the sales figures for JRPG's on the X360 they are appalling and FinalFantasy a guaranteed 2million seller at least will be lucky to see 1million units sold on the X360 and its still exclusive in Japan which is where it matters seeing has it is a game aimed at the Japanese.

Sony's announcement of MAG is great and all and i am sure the game will be great and 256 players on one map will be spectacular but it was a trailer (non CG) and there is alot more to hear about it. Oh and just for the record... MAG IS NOT A SOCOM GAME!!!!

So i think it is safe to say that this years E3 is the worst by far and i think E3 will just get worse and worse as the years go on. Most devs and the 'Big Three' leave everything till GC and TGC now anyway, they did last year TGC was very spectacular last year... i think.

I feel sony one because in the end we have mag, gow3, little big planet, resistance 2, ratchet and clank, motorstorm 2, socom, and oh yea final fantasy.

The new SOCOM isn't exactly your standard MMO.

Considering the domiance of Online Shooters in North America, an MAG of this magnitude could potentially be huge for Sony in North America if Zipper can pull it off. SOCOM is an established Franchise with a decent following and a good developer, so there is hope this game can be really good.

The MS Conference was lame and uneventful untill the final few moments. Sony's didn't exactly set the world on fire, but was the best in comparison.

The fact of the matter is, the FFXIII announcement for 360 is only a big deal if you only own a 360. For a multi-console owner like me, who wasn't a big fan of GoW, the MS conference does nothing for me.
