Seriously, it seems like everyone here has nothing but haterid towards Nintendo now. It's all "Wii Music suxs" or "GTA for DS?! LOLZ" It really makes me mad to see everyone's complaints about the show. What did you expect? A new Kid Icarus + Zelda + Pikmin? Come on!! It seems like everyone had waaay to high expectations for this conference because they got wrapped up in the roumers. They're not announcing everything. They even said that they couldn't show all of the games being developed.

So for once, can you guys be grateful for what's ahead, & stop complaining on what you can't change?

You could have made it a bit better, but at least you have a positive attitude, and aren't an idiot.

Is it too much to expect at least ONE hardcore game in the conference? Kid Icarus, 3rd party stuff, something? All we got that was decent was AC + a wired microphone that I have major reservations about.

DS got GTA, where's Wii's GTA type of announcement?

Sorry but, it was a major let down.

I think the problem is everyone thinks E3 is when the games for the next year are announced... but it isn't, just because they only announced Wii Sports/Music, Animal Crossing etc, doesn't mean they are the only games coming out.

Something like Pikmin or Wave Race (which was almost in the conference ) isn't big enough to announce too soon.

I personally love the fact that in the last year we have gotten a new, amazing Mario game, a new, amazing Super Smash Brothers game, and a new, amazing Metroid game (it's been a year right?) and everyone is complaining that Nintendo is abandoning the core crowd and they just don't care anymore.

It's like if Nintendo doesn't personally give them a new game every week then they are clearly ignoring them.

No, I'd say let's hate on Nintendo for doing a bad job. They made a crappy conference, let's not deny that. Why are we kissing their butts? We're supposed to love Nintendo because they treat their customers well and release good games. If they ignore the hardcore gamers (let me tell you something Nintendo, we saved your ass in the last 2 generations) and show off crap like this, than how is that a good conference?

Hell, just because the games may be good doesn't mean that Nintendo gives a crap. Ubisoft releases tons of casual games on the Wii and we get plenty mad at them.

 But people were expecting Nintendo to announce their lineup for the second half of '08, and AC + Wii Music seems a little thin. Wii Sports 2 won't be out until '09.

We must scream BULLSHIT when we see it. That conference was BULLSHIT. Animal Crossing was a good start, then the 1:1 should of had a better game to prove we want to buy it. Then sure Wii Music needs to be there.

But after that was done where's the GTA, Halo, Gears2, GT5, FF13, Zelda, Mario, type of announcement? Where's my teaser for Kid Icarus or the new Punch Out! or The Conduit or Pikimin teasers? Anything to create a solid positive buzz like MS' revelation of FF13 did.

Nintendo clearly did us, the fanbase, wrong with this and they better make it up as E3 rolls on.
