No Killzone mention becasue they're focusing on Resistance for it's fall release, then the Killzone hype train will start.  It's actually a better strategy, so Resistance 2 potential owners don't get dissuaded by Killzone 2.  The same way Microsoft showed gears, but not Bungie's game.

So lets look at it. The first 15 mins was about how great the PS2 was. The following 20mins was footage of Resistance 2. Then followed by a 5min trailer of Resistance 2. Next was 10mins of talk saying how it isn't important to have downloaded content. Then they showed Download content such as R&C....

Next was talking about GT TV and how you can buy programmes such as Top Gear on it.
Then talked about how they have signed up advertisers such as Nike for Home.
Then went onto the PSN movie service that is available now and will take an hour or so to download a 2hr film.
New Silver psp bundle with R&C, New 80GB PS3 next year, God of War 3 trailer in CGI showing a pan out shot that lasts 20secs.
Then new game announced called MAG which was a trailer in CGI and will have 256 players.

My personal view is that it sucked. Majority of it was talking about Resistance 2 and how great the PS2 was. The new games announced were brief trailers that were not even gameplay and will be years away. MAG lookslike a direct ripoff of BF2.

This years E3 belongs to MS with their showing of RE5 live co-op/Gears 2 live co-op/Exclusive content for Fallout 3/Rockband 2 exclusive/Netflix film service and of course the FFXIII announcement. That is just my opinion.
Surprised there was nothing on KZ2.

He said that a new 80gig system would be introduced to replace the 40gig and it'll have all of the same features. Thus, that would most likely mean that they're just adding 40gigs onto the 40gig unit (as in, still no BC).

I see 360 fans are clinging to "Microsoft won the show".

I think they might have (which wouldn't have been much of an achievement given the poor competition) but for the fact that they announced no new games. Sony, on the other hand announced MAG (Resistance on PSP also looks great) which makes all the difference in my view.

E3 is all about new games.

With the exception of ΜAG it was the worst presentation i have ever seen from SONY...

Im hoping they are saving the team Ico and RPG news for TGS. They showed more shooters then i expected then again it was an event for the biggest shooter market. I doubt the BBC game was MAG so im guessing leipzig.

I think Sony did the best because they announced a lot of new games, unlike the other two.
