Forums - Gaming - Fallout 3 - A bit disappointing?

I'm so not excited for this game anymore.

It's an RPG so I do not expect it to look outstanding. I am more dissapointed because I have not seen any NPC interaction and the world looked pretty empty. I have the dire suspicion that it will be Oblivion in the future.

I actually though the game was looking better then I thought it would.

It still won't be what Fallout 3 could of been... but at least it won't be as bad as they were making it sound.

I wonder if they were trying to go for a Jagged Alliance type gameplay. I liked JA but I'm not so sure it translates well to a 3d environment.

All the content is already in the game and they're spending the next couple of months optimizing the code, squashing bugs, and improving the graphics. It'll definitely be out this year (November 2008).

the guy said 100hours of gameplay....not that i will buy it (no 360) but that is a good amount.

i thought of the 4 main demo's

fallout 3
RE-5
Gears-2
Fable 2

the most polished and smooth was the RE-5 one, the framerate on both fallout and Gears seemed to "chug" at points and i liked the smoother pace of RE-5's action.

don't get me wrong all four looked Good, i just liked the RE-5 demo more than the other 3

hmm it looked good to me also it is early in the development stage

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

The visuals and combat didn't bother me. The lack of NPCs and interaction pissed me off.
