Forums - Sony - I Will Stick With Sony

I'm still getting it on PS3, and there are many other games to keep your PS3 for, lets just see what they show tommorow

its not about still being able to play ffxiii that pisses me off. its the fact that sony made many of us look like an ass.

the only reason i really went for the ps3 is becuase of ffxiii plus the assumption that it would be getting plenty of rpg love, obviously, i was willing to pay the high ps3 price tag for the games that i like to play.  but a while back, ms announced a shit load of rpgs exclusive to the xbox360. rpgs that would have tradtionally have been released on a playstation console. rpgs such as so4.

having lost the ability to play these rpgs, my last shining hope was ffxiii as for me, it is the pinnacle of rpg gaming. yes, the ps3 does have resistance, uncharted, hs and mgs4, but i prefer rpgs. so these games are just like nice side dishes for me but not the main course.

so here we are now, ms announcing ffxiii will also be releasing on the x360..now you tell me, is paying the higher ps3 price worth it now for me? was it worth the purchase of the more expensive ps3 and having a drought on rpgs just to find out that the xbox360 would be the console to deliver the games that i want to play? to an rpg gamer such as myself, it cant be helped if i feel as if i've been made an ass by sony.

By Sony? Blame it on MS (who put a console on the market in the first place) and Square Enix (who wanted to earn more. Besides I still think that SO4 will be multiplat.

yes, by sony. i could care less if ffxiii went multiplat. the fact that i payed more for a ps3 that vertually has no rpgs out right now sucks big time! plus the fact that i was first going to buy an xbox360 but decided to go for the ps3 coz of ffxiii sucks even more!

Zen only listed a few genres he dislikes, Which happens to be simular to ones Im not fussed on expessially Racing Sims, Its not like he said all racing games, Also just cos you dislike a type of game there are still some of that type that blow you away, Timesplitters 2 has been one of the only FPS I have enjoyed in years I couldnt ever be bothered to get throught HalfLife 2 and I love the first one.

Sorry forgot to stay on topic then, I think its likely the few people who are planning on selling there PS3 for this are probally 360 owners as well as I cant imagine the reson to sell a PS3 to fork out more cash for a 360.

You will stick with Sony and so will 100+ million PS3 future owners. I have a felling that Sony new IPs will get as bigger as Gran Turismo for them which is the biggest game after GTA and only for PS brand for ever. Sony just buy Take-two and secure coming generations for ever and force MS to drop Xbox like Saga did.
