A lot of fans are mad that the models got changed.  I think a lot of them are just used to the old models...these new ones definitely are higher quality and better looking, and a lot agree.

Ugh, I'm not liking these at all, at all. Bill looks like John Kerry, and Francis looks like a total douche. Er, a different douche than John Kerry, I mean.

I dunno, I'm still psyched for the AI director and all, but I'm really pretty attached to the old models.

I am too...but I'll wait until I see them in-game to judge.

It's certainly a weird move by Valve...but they know what they're doing...I think these will look fine in-game. They're going the TF2 route...there were multiple changes to the character models from its first trailer to the final release.

I actually like the new ones quite a bit more, I wasn't too fond of the old ones =P

I guess that makes me the oddball. Either way I'm pretty sure you will develop attachments to these characters as well =) I will say it would be cool if they have the extra time to re-finish the old characters at this detail level and add them so you have 8 choices for 4 players. It would be nice for when you have 2 females in the group especially....which may not be as rare as some folks think.

Well I'd want completely different people if there were other characters available.

I definitely think they should make more characters though...sometime down the line...it'll make the experience almost new again with all new voice acting and whatnot.

Something we need though is DIRECT FEED VIDEOS!

Virtually all existing footage of Left 4 Dead is cam footage...some better than others, but none direct-feed. I would like to see just how good this looks running on a PC, and I'm sure Valve wouldn't want people to think their game looks crappy because all they've seen are cams...

I really like this game's style (a la 28 Days later).

But is this coming to PS3 or what?! Some people say and some don't. I know Valve doesn't like PS3 but EA does love multiplatform games... And sometimes PS3 is also listed in the consoles this game will be released on... Can anybody help?!

I remember watching several videos of Left4dead and I don't remember what they looked like. These are sweet. The guy on the top left needs a cigar.

Even if some people don't like the models, you can always download different skins...the wonders of PC gaming!

My Pyro in TF2 has a golden axe, my spy has a cooler knife...there's so much you can modify.
