@TheTruthHurts this game could be any where above 9GB if it uses more than one dvd. That is just too much space for the limited 360 HDDs.

I'm getting the PS3 version as it will come first in Japan (Region Free and I'm a Japanese student). This confirms I will get the Japanese version for sure because it's gonna be a long wait for them to port it to the 360 and localize it. And when the American version comes out, I will get it for PS3 because it looks like it's the lead platform - unless a PC version comes.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

It's launching same day as PS3 outside of Japan so that's not really a reason to pick one over the other.
360, with this ported over I really don't see a reason to buy a PS3 in the next year.
im not getting either, but this really annoys me that its on the 360 now, sony just lost themselves alot of consoles
Respect for compans: SONY > NINTENDO >>>>>>>>>> MICROSOFT
PS3 only.
Installs are done only once, disc-swapping (depending on how many discs) is a pain.
PSN: NightStalker09/ SleepyK (Dual PSN Accounts)

Well MGS4 had numerous installs so that first part is false.
And like I said earlier MS is offering installation options that seem to remove the discswapping issue.

how do you know the 360 one wont be in one disk |
If all of FFXIII fits onto one DVD I am going to cry
I'll probably buy it on the 360. The past few years I've been struggling between getting a 360 and a PS3, and the only reason I wanted the PS3 was for it's exclusive games. Every day, Microsoft just keeps getting more and more games that I'm interested in, and now it has even stolen one of PS3's big games...Plus, the ps3 always seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to framerates and whatnot on multiplatform games.
Looks like it's the 360 for me.

You are absolutely right about that. I could see it as a benefit to the 120g HD owners though. Personally I would do it because the amount of time a FF game takes to complete (40+ hrs). Less power, heat, noise, ect... may be worth the space for a monster RPG such as LO or FFXIII. After completed you could always delete all but the saved game at no cost to you and play off the disk for future strolls down memory lane.
