LOL yea FFXIII crashed the innernetz. (multiple sites were down, at first I thought it was my internet acting up)

Twistwd Metal, Dark Cloud, Jak, Sly Cooper, Syphon Filter, Omega Boost, Legend of the Dragoon, FantaVision, or some Sony exclusive IP needs to be announced, and it needs to KICK ASS! At this point, any 3rd party announcement is a potential multi-plat game. I mean, FFXIII for Christ's sake!!

More important than Final Fantasy, to me is the 360's upcoming enhancements. Wow. HOME needs to be out now, and it needs to deliver big time! This ball game is just getting started, though. Sony hasn't been sitting on their asses. We'll see what they've been doing.........

It'll make it very easy to see who wins. Nintendo and Sony can throw out the biggest guns they have, but if it doesn't crash the gaming net, it's not enough. The headline for E3 will be:

Wii gets KH3 exclusive

It wouldn't quite top the FF13 announcement, but it would funnier in certain ways.

If Wii got KH3 exclusive, it would almost equalize the FFXIII bombshell -- it would be a big enough surprise to basically give Nintendo a clean slate (and then I'd trust that Nintendo would clean up with its 1st party games).

Short of this, I don't think any Nintendo announcements will be able to match FF for sheer surprise. Any major 1st party revelations (like Zelda) would be exciting, but basically expected -- that's what Nintendo does.

I think MS has an almost 1-punch KO here, even if Sony or Nintendo have more overall quality to their announcements. FF is what we'll be talking about a month from now.

Let's be honest. When Sony knocked Nintendo of their throne in the PS1/N64 era it was because they had the money to throw around at third party developers (Square for example). Not because If Spyro the Dragon or some shit like that. Now it's ironic because Microsoft is doing it to them.

I can't wait to see what Sony's got planned. GOW3 is a given, as is the other known games and services(LBP, KZ2, R2, HOME, Socom, etc.)
What I'm most interested in is the unknown stuff. Sony's PR has been talking about the 3rd party exclusives issue for a little bit of time now, so they had to have seen this coming. Since they found out about FF13 from Square-Enix(undoubtedly behind closed doors weeks ago), I'm guessing they've been planning something big. I'm looking at Team-ICO, maybe Heavy Rain, and some other announcement.

Nintendo, like me, doesn't seem to much care about the 'winner' of E3 because they don't have to. No doubt, they'll introduce some cool-ass shit, probably Kid Icarus, new Zelda(early screens), and/or a new Mario proper game(farther off, but it doesn't hurt to announce the inevitable.) They'll show off the Wii cheerleader game, the Yoga one, as well. They'll also surprise with a new peripheral.

The winners-losers thing is blah for me. So long as Nintendo and Sony show off rockin' stuff, we all win.
