its funny what people take out of things.

Heres my take on reading this and on one of your responces.

1. No FFXIII for us for a long time. 2010 xmas maybe.

2. Your comment about number of discs. Well from what MGS4 taught us. During the 4 minutes instal things between acts I can easily put in a new disc. Plus if game is so big, isn't the blu ray reader slower than dvd reader. --- and from all my experiences with FF games on CD. They have a lot of times that it loads data.

FF games in EU come out 1 year after Japanese release. Depending on when it makes the PS3 in Japan, I'd like it to be 1 year after or sooner. Not 2 years because they thought it would be good to release it as well on another system. Putting it on the 360 is fine, just don't delay the PS3 version because of it.

they will have english language game in thier hands before 360 version is even started on, please dont delay the game until 360 version is finished.

this is now surely a 2010 release, release an asian version with english language, even subtitles will do for me.

since FF13 will be PS3 exclusive in Japan and any other Asian country and will release up to a year early...im hoping this could drastically increase the ps3 userbase in JP and PAL

Sony also needs a promising Triple A line up in the west and has to counter something bigger than the last 5 min. of MS E3 press conference

You do realize that Final Fantasy XIII is laid over a multiplatform gaming engine developed by Square. Which not only means they are fully fluent in their software, but the base of the game makes for ease in porting the title correct. Further more you should also realize that the title was fifteen percent complete during summer of last year.

The title should fall early summer next year in Japan, and probably the fall in the rest of the world. Square has placed quite the premium on quick localization as of late, and thanks to the hardware in both the 360 and the PS3 localization is far better this generation. Hell if Mistwalker can do Lost Odyssey in a few months Square can most assuredly do so.

Gah i know-- I wish SE would hurry up, FFXIII is taking waaay too long to complete. So far we know its not coming in 2008. At best it will only be out in Japan in 2009. So we are looking at a 2010 release date -- 2010!! 2010!!. The game was annouced in 2005. Devlopment begin in 03 or 04...

No wonder SE want Fabula Nova Crystallis to last 10 years... i mean we are 3 years into Fabula Nova Crystallis and we don't even have 1 game yet.

 Is that really when it was first announced 2005.  I always thought it was 2006 with the PS3 announcement.  You know same year as Wii was announced. 

this pisses me off, but only cause it means we all have to wait longer just so shitbox 360 can have it too

wow, such a gutsy prediction since SE said they won't begin porting the game to the 360 until after the ps3 version is done.
