Halo can't go to PS3 because its first party exclusive. FFXIII was the last great 3rd party exclusive left on either system.

While it would be nice to think that a multiplat FF XIII is just Squeenix going where the userbase is, the X360 exclusivity of so many other Squeenix titles suggests that they're going where the moneyhats are.

I can't help but wonder, if Microsoft had a handheld, what would happen to all those DS RPGs?

 The lack of critical thinking and poor logic in this post is simply amazing.

1.  Ok, so because of this announcement you beleive that the developers make rational business decisions. If so, then you probably thought that these developers must be hitting those 3-martini lunches and coke in the restrooms quite regularly, well until you heard of this announcement, of course.  This is almost too dumb to respond to so I'm just going to stop here.

2.  Did the large numbers of games that are on both the 360 and PS3 not clue you into thinking that MS/Sony "views Xbox 360 & PS3 as the same audience essentially"?   I suppose not.
