Just look at the wording. Porting a game couldn't happen in 6 months, especially one the size of FFXIII. Unless someone can find proof that they say its simultaneous. This is just what I deduced from the Q&A. Only because they said it was just decided to do this.

Edit: And let me say that this is still the WORST BLUNDER IN GAMING HISTORY on Sony's part, and absolutely genius on Microsoft's part, but it doesn't add up that they would announce this 6 months before with no leaks and no one having the SLIGHTEST idea this is going on when the game comes to Japan in a few months.

They only way it comes to Japan on the PS3 and not on the 360 is

A. Sony paid for that, which clearly they are too stupid to do at this point.

B. The game is coming out afterwards, and it would cost more than its worth to make the game in Japan after the PS3 has already had the game for nearly a year.

so, It won't be released at the same time then?...

Yeah. that sucks. Square is going to halt a release of a game that is already done because of this deal. And the fans be damned.

The worst part is that the fans will buy it still.

P.S. - I sound angry, but to be honest I don´t really care that much about XIII. I just don´t like decisions that screw some customers so the company can make more money.
