Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 to sell more than PS3 this Generation?

No...but Microsoft potentially could have Sega-like viability in Japan (2-6m?) next generation if they keep going at it and going at it and that might be enough to get support from everyone next generation.

No, I still think that PS3 will outsell the 360. The PS3's biggest hits are still coming, whereas Halo 3 has already come, and we wont see another one for a while

Do you guys honestly think that the 360 will now start outselling the ps3 WW just because of a clearance price cut in NA and a multiplatform game that will probably arrive in NA/Europe in 2010? By that time PS3 will have already outsold 360 WW.

Well, never say never, with a significant pricedrop and far more attention to casuals, who knows. (I'm still saying this whole 'casual redesign' MS is undergoing at the moment is rather insignificant and will do them no good, but well, people can hope).

I think the 360 will come in 2nd simply because the margin that the PS3 has been outselling it by has not been the largest and I think the 360 may see a turn around and start outselling it again.

Not a cat in hells chance.

I actually believe that from Aug to Dec -08 the 360 will outsell the PS3. Cheaper, more AAA games coming, marketing etc.

Ok now that FFXIII is PS3 exclusive in Japan i think chances have gone down. But if Sony is not buying exclusives then they better drop the price.

I don´t think so either. But, who knows what will happen next generation.

What do Sony have that goes up against that onslaught? Thry dont have FF13 anymore. GT5? KZ2 against Gears 2? Sony are in trouble if they show the usual games with noone controlling them.
