Forums - PC - The Last Remnant coming to PC

The Last Remnant will hit Xbox 360 on November 20 in North America, Japan and Europe, Square Enix revealed in a surprise appearance at Microsoft's E3 press briefing.

The company also announced that The Last Remanant will arrive on PC at an unspecified later date. The title is also slated for an unspecified later PlayStation 3 release.

Looks like Square-Enix itself are diving on the PC again, after a brief encounter in the late 90's with FF7 and FF8 both on PC.

They have recently released an MMORPG on PC, and now this was announced. The chance of FFXIII hitting gets bigger (especially after it was just announced for X360)

I hope it happens for FF as well. It´s more than nice to see SE reconsidering the PC market like they did in the past with FFVII and FFVIII. My first FF was on PC btw. I also hope that other jRPG makers follow suit as well, back then there were jRPGs on PC except FF, i.e Grandia.

The PC gamers don't even like JRPGs so I am shocked at this announcement about The Last Remnant

That is not true, we just think WRPGs are better. I even bought FF8 on PC.

They don´t like them because there aren´t any anymore for 10 years and all the ones that were published were badly ported with no graphical and technical enhancements. But if Namco ports let´s say Tales of Vesperia or Eternal Sonata they won´t like them because they are not mature enough.

I have FF8 on the PC too.  Got it as a gift from my sister for my birthday.  Farthest I ever got was Ifrit (for those that don't know, that's like 10 minutes into the game).
