 You just need to send an email to your Wii. I do that everytime I finish playing.

For example, my Friend Code is 6140-3530-5783-6618... you just need to add a w at the beggining, at wii.com

The email is w6140353057836618@wii.com

Just save the email address in your address book and send yourself an email everytime you want the blue light on. It looks very pretty. I do that every day.

On the power cable, the little humongus square that sits halfway through where the cord plugs into the Wii, and where it plugs into the wall.
