So what is the point of releasing this game on the wii if it is exacally the game as the Cube version. I really hope no one buys it and capcom learns from this.

to take Advantage of wii owners. trying to make a quick buck, i consider re0 wii edition shovelware.

Come on everyone: RE0 is a great game, it sold quite well for a GameCube game and it never went to PS2. So there are a lot of pople that simply haven't played this game, because it wasn't on THE console; PS2.

It's pretty smart to put this game on Wii. Of course there's no added value for people that already played the GC version, but hey, you don't need to buy it.

According to TheSource it sold 20.000 first week, which is decent.

Still seems like shovelware to me... It sounds like a single programmer could take the previous game and make this port in a week's job.

It sold poorly according to the preliminary data, but I doubt it even flopped, considering how cheap development must have been.

Hoestly, what I want more than anything on the Wii. Is a remake of Resident Evil 2 done like RE:4.

I'd pay full price (plus a premium) for that game.

at least it will be on one disc instead of two. And hopefully the cut scenes will be in better quality in this version. *Shrugs*. Maybe they'll get around to also porting RE (remake) and remake RE2, RE3 and RECV.

Let's just hope they include the original Gamecube control scheme for the game so you can play with the Gamecube remote.

It's not all bad. By buying this game, Japanese Wii owners are funding development for Capcom to develop new, original games for the PS3/360 !! Just think of the good karma those guys are getting for being so selfless!!

BTW: F*** you, Capcom. F*** you in the ear.

this is a rip off,the gamecube one only costs around 7$ and its exactly the same game

yeah,  I was going to say that.

Well its also a game Capcom put alot of work into for the cube and didn't sell a whole lot so I imagine they're eager to recoup funds.

that's kinda dumb. Who the hell would pay more than the cost of the current used copy of a gameboy version of this game? Sounds like playing with the gamecube controller, i.e. its original controller, would actually work better anyways.

Capcom has already remapped a RE game to wiimote correctly, why would they not do it for this game?

Even if it was coming to NA it would be a no buy for me.

The only reason I can think to buy this game is losing one of your GC discs. And all that assuming you can`t find the used GC game.

I agree that RE0 deserve better sales (it was much better than the awful RE3), but it feels like Capcom want me to do their job. If it did not sell enough, try adding some value to the port: extra features, bonus material or gifts like a leech into a beaker. They are not even advertising it.
