hopefully we get a game play video, that would mean they are close to finishing it instead of a cg video of what it might look like.

“There’s going to be more things happening for XIII at E3,” said a rep. “That’s all I can say at the moment. And throughout the year there’s more things planned as well, which should shed more light on the release timings.”

The news comes after a story saying FF Versus XIII had been put on hold to assist in the development of FFXIII was proven to be incorrect.

Confirmation the game will show colours at the show will come as great relief both to fans and Sony alike. Big trailer megaton for the press conference, please.

They win by showing off a game everybody knows already exists... and have since last E3?

Honestly, you've got some low standards.

 

 

And Nintendo wins by showing off what? Animal Crossing? Wario? Sony will be the most applauded if they show off FFXIII, so they win.

What's Nintendo have to do with anything?

Unless E3 is horribly disapointing E3 SHOULD be won by whoever makes a surprsing announcement and releases the best unheard of or rarely mentioned game. Something that hasn't seen footage yet.

For example God of War 3 for Sony or the new Team ICO game, A nother Halo related game, or some other big game... or for Nintendo... likely something like Wii Music.

Hell, if we would base it off already announced games, PC should win with another Spore demo.  Which I guess would count for Microsoft?

 

And who are you to dictate who should and who shouldn't win. The people decide what's exciting and what isn't. What if a FFXIII trailer does make Sony the most talked about at E3?

 

Then we have witnessed a f#ing boring E3. Don´t get me wrong I love FF, but if a new TRAILER of a game we already know for about 2 years wins the show, I´ll never invest time in E3 again.

To be honest, now that we know the game will be PS3 exclusive in Japan it doesn´t seem like that big of a deal to me. Yeah, I´m looking forward to it as a gamer, together with all the other RPG´s on Xbox 360 this year but from a market analysis standpoint this isn´t the world shattering thing it seems to be. Actually, it might help Nintendo just as much as Microsoft in the end.
