Sony continues to get a lot of bad press for their mistakes, but I have to give them one thing: They've managed to shut up pretty well lately. I mean we used to get all this absurd statements from Kutaragi and Hirai until a few months ago, but I haven't heard anything from either of them since. Sure there was that incident about killing a goat for the God of War 2 promotion event, but that was probably just the UK branch acting by themselves, and fairly minor in any case. They've definitely learned something.

Honestly 90% of what Kutaragi said was taken out of context.

 Haha, that's great. Does anyone have stuff from Nintendo's gaffs? Especially stuff back near the dawn of the N64/PS1 era. 

I agree, a lot of the Kuturagi ones are unfairly out of context (whenever I see elipses, I question the validity of the quotation). The "people will work overtime for a PS3" one is pretty fun though, you have to admit :p

You aren't much into politics if you can't think of a quote that's been abused more than that. But yeah, I agree, it's misrepresentational :p
