Do you think it's one big reason or many?

Is this just a fluke or will the PS3 continue to outsell the Xbox 360?

And yes we are all aware that the Wii has outsold them both thanks.

It was bound to happen with the PS3 being newer and having more tech packed in with it (Blu Ray, recharge batteries, free online). Im sure when MS releases the next xbox in 09 or 10 that it will be ahead for awhile till Nintendo and sony come out with their next system.

Those are some reasons. I don´t think that nothing happens for just one reason, so if you it all up, you get PS3 sales > 360 sales, but a 360 price cut can change (or delay) things.

It is a combination of the XBox 360 being a non-factor in Japan, a lower priced model of the PS3 being released late in 2007, Blu-Ray winning the format war with the PS3 being the least expensive Blu-Ray player, and the PS3 finally seeing some high quality exclusive games in major franchises.

If things go well for the XBox 360 for the rest of the year (sees a price reduction, has many high quality games announced and released, and doesn't see too many delays) and things go poorly for the PS3 (doesn't see a price reduction, few new games are announced, and sees many game delays) the XBox 360 will probably be able to minimize its losses to the PS3 in North America and Europe/Total Others.
