Forums - Sony - Well I bought my first PS3 game.

Many will be shocked to learn it is.....Assassin's Creed. 20 bucks used. I always wanted to play the game, and for 20 bucks why the hell not? So far I've rented MGS4, Ratchet and Clank, and COD4, I did buy Pixeljunk monsters and Wild Arms though, but I don't count those as "first game" for some reason. Well I'm off to play.

That game is killer, your gonna have fun with throwing knifes. Don't worry, i permanently borrowed the game from my friend

AC looks fantastic, so why not. I would by it as well, if I had a PS3 (along with Uncharted).

So far so good. I just got through the beginning chapter where the city is attacked and I have to say I enjoy the combat more than I thought I would. Watching the video's the combat seemed really lame but playing it, it feels alot better than videos had it look. The free run while definately "next gen" simple (I miss the old days where you actually have to have skill to make your character do harrowing jumps), it's also fun to watch. I can't wait to make my way into the main game and have a bit more freedom to explore.

You really should swap your rentals with your purchases in my opinion.

I played it on the 360, but I really liked it. However, there is a lot of repetition and the end is kind of confusing (because it just ends and you have to wait for the sequel). But still a good game.

I am annoyed that Ubisoft didn't do more for the PS3 version.
It could have been playing so much better, but none the less a great game, even though it had some big flaws!

Buy Uncharted, it is awesome

I have AC too, the graphics and gameplay are great, though the missions do get repetitive after a while, but if you stick it out you really start to enjoy it. I beat it in about 18 hours, and did a few of the extra things, it's fun to mess around. I loved assissinating a dude for a side mission and walking away like nothing happened. It was funny. I can't wait to see the sequal, I hope they add multiplayer, or coop that would be awesome.
