If true, it is ironic since Viacom is suing Google over copyright infringement on YouTube. (Google should force Viacom to show actual damages in the case in my opinion, if it ever gets that far).
My question is how does everything get to be filed in this place in Texas. If I recall correctly, this court has a history of deciding patent lawsuits in the plantiff's favor (see Nintendo's latest venture there).

Doesn't Konami also make a guitar hero-esque game that's exclusive to Japan? I remember playing it an an video game import store in Baton Rouge.
I think this is great, because I love Konami, and Guitar Hero, but hate Rock Band because it is the casualized competitor to something I love.

You're talking about GuitarFreaks. Yes, it was the first music-rhythm game to include a guitar peripheral

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
Konami did make these instruments before the other companies so it makes sense. But i wonder why they are suing so much after these games got popular.

Rock band hasn't been out that long. And some lawsuits need time to ready. Any serious lawsuit isn't made in a day.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
