^well soul calibur is the best fighting series next to SSB

I'd take Tales over Soul Calibur any day. I don't care about fighters.

No one cares what you think. Soul Calibur 4 will sell better and probably get better ratings than Tales 2. If you don't like fighters that's fine, but Namco is not stupid.

Tales takes a steamy shit on Soul Calibur any day of the week and Soul Calivur IV is no different. The day it's release there will be a nice pile waiting for it.

OnTopic: Is anyone surprised that a Capcom game isn't exclusive? I mean it was registered as multiplat to begin with. People acting like this is a big deal or detrimental to the Wii are probably trolls.

im not saying that tales is bad but neither is soul calibur

Its good news. As long as Wii gets the damn exclusive on the next 'true' MM sequel i dont give a shit.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

^i dont think that will happen, capcom might make megaman multi plat from now on

Yet again, why does exclusivity matter to enjoy a game?

 Wii: 80-85 Million end of 2009 (1.1.09)

I still cant wait for this game.

Exclusive doesn't matter. What matters is the build based entirely on the Wii capabilities to maximise the quality of the product. That's what mean, ok ok ok

Good, I'd much rather not use the Wii's limited space to download games if I can avoid it. Whether I get this will depend on reviews...

Megaman X, X2,and X3 Were the best, Megaman FTW

Hey, what's that about Mega Man I and II coming to WiiWare in the headline and in the article it says both games are coming to the VC? So which is it?

Yeah, considering that both games already ARE on the VC, and re-releasing them on WiiWare would be pretty pointless.

OT: I guess it bugs me a little that Capcom has reversed its stance again and released a Wii game to other consoles, but it doesn't reallty matter. It's still Megaman, it's a new (retro) Megaman, and I'll still buy it because it's awesome.

And it still serves as a huge bitch-slap to graphics whores everywhere, which is probably the second most important thing about it.

Does anyone expect this to sell many units on ANY system? It looks like a game from 10 years ago. I will probably buy it because I am a sucker for Jump&Run games and I hope it succeeds but I doubt the retro thing will make it a big success.
