i will agree to some of that, in that turn based rpg`s are much more fun, i love the planning your action thing about it, its much more fun that lets say the gambit system in ff12.

i know how you feel, it is slow paced but not to bad, i seem to have a go on it for a few hours, then put it down for a few weeks. ive just got out of the uhra sewrs on disk 3 and got playing in jansens party again.

i might boot it up on the weekend sometime, i need to finish this and sell it on for eternal sonata.

BTW have you played enchanted arms? the battle system in that is super cool, that game i wish they made a sequel its one of the best games ive played this gen.

Not one of my very favorite games this gen, but it's fun. The battle system is cool, and golem collecting made it kind of addictive in a Pokemon sort of way. That pizza-headed golem is boss!

The voice acting was pretty ass, though. "Toya!? Toya...? Toya...!?" to infinity.

LO is great and im glad more people have found it and are enjoying it. The first Disc is the weakest and a couple of the mini games are annoying but thats just part of the JRPG experience.

I found Blue Dragon disappointing and just couldnt get into it (got bored towards the end of disc2), I think this is because LO has a more adult story.

LO, Mass Effect and Oblivion set high benchmarks for RPG's this generation. I cant wait for more top games to come along to equal or, hopefully, surpass them!

I stopped playing for I have no idea what reason. I think I was up to Numara on disc 4. Which makes me wonder even more why I don't just finish it.

Anyways, the game itself is really good. I agree with many have said, in terms of PS3/360 JRPG's this game is the best, hands down.

My one gripe with the game however is that the load times are just ridiculous and when I play it my DVD drive makes this nasty grinding noise, probably from working so hard.

Last gen or not, it didn't stop P3 from getting RPG of the Year 2007 from Gamespot. Not to mention the praise the game recieved in general, the games sales in no way do the game justice.

Nothing can stop P4 this year either. Except the fact it comes out like Dec. 9th.
