Argh. This is Japan, not the US. If Japan were really interested in this game it would have sold out within the first 2 days. You will not get a major jump next week, stop expecting one.

He will if they actually ship some of it this week.

Wow @ X360. Almost no drop in HW despite no games.

Xbox360 # is indeed very impressive. Japanese gamers are buying it for the upcoming two big exclusive JRPGs.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

70% of the total shipment sold out in one week >_> How the hell do you expect big numbers when there was only 49k copies left in stores?! |
...Because it sold well under 30,000 of those supposed remainin copies, assuming 0 were shipped the entire week?
Face it, Soriku, ToS2 dropped like a rock not because of shipments, but because the userbase has been saturated and bought as many copies as they wanted to. Remember Dragon Quest Swords? It had well above a 90% sellthrough, and notoriously poor 2nd shipments, yet managed to sell ~61,000 copies the second week. Very few games experience total and utter failure on their second weeks in terms of users buying the game. Either the game gets recalled (which happened with Takio Drum Master last year, I think), gets atrocious 2nd shipments with 95% sellout, or in this case, drops like every other RPG.
And that's what it's doing: a horrible 2nd week drop, which will most likely have a 40-50% drop next week before slowly falling down the charts. ToS2 still has the ability to have some sort of decent legs when it hits 3-5k/wk since there are many new Wii users coming aboard: hopefully a few decide that ToS2 is worth a look, since it's a quality game.

Rufly 5K sold in one week might indicate a breakfrough for the X360 in Japan. I wonder though if there was a bundle campaign or sale of sum sort.
Slime - It *could* be due to people getting ready for Vespria, as sales have been going up slowly since the announcement. There is no X360 bundle right now, but ToV will debut with a X360 Bundle.
