Forums - Sales - Predictions on Failing to Meet Expectations from E3

I disagree with LBP and Fable--LBP for above-mentioned reasons, and Fable because despite the first game's many flaws it sold a few million.

Fatal Frame, it depends on how well it's advertised. I could see 1.5-2 million if it receives modest advertising and is a solid game.

I'm tossing up Too Human.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Well I think that too human will flop, but I am not sure whether that is thought of as an AAA title. CoD WaW could well have poor sales because of the bad buzz around it, though the previews have mostly been positive. Little Big Planet will sell, because everyone who plays it seems to have fallen in love, and many people who have seen it instantly want it (such as me!). As for Fable, it wont set the world on fire, but it will do quite well

Lets see some new upcoming original titles at E3. We all know about the games that are already going to be successful in the gaming market. A surprise announcement would be good.

Thank you Munkeh111.

I was looking for the suggestions of others much more than a commentary on my own choices (which I provided to start the conversation and took care to pick a game from each system to show I was trying to be "fair and balanced."

Personally, I don't want to see a game fail -- especially a unique IP -- because it means more sequels of things that we have already played. So my purpose behind this thread is predictive, not prescriptive.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
