You can block it in many ways. Block flash ads on your browser, use a specific type of adblocker which blocks all script tags serving the ads... you dont have to pay anything. :)

you guys probably shouldn't be saying the names of some of the addons you are suggesting.. this site is able to function because of the ads, and suggesting ways to stop it from being on your computer is rightfully not going to 'fly' with the owner/mods

I think ioi is the only person to ever ban anyone for saying they block ads, and I don't blame him. He does this for free, and all you have to do is let some ads show up on your screen.
