Uh, neither are supposed to release in 2008. DQIX they already said is being held back till the Zenethia Trilogy has been released.

How relevant are Square Enix any more?

I'll probably get flamed for this....but I think they need to calm down and focus on a few good games. They're spreading themselves too thin and churning out generic re-hashes.

No Wii titles and only one (cross-platform) PS3 title? I'm betting that they're holding out on a few surprises. My guess:

1) FFXIII playable demo

2) FFCC Wii release date

3) At least one new game announcement, probably for Wii or DS

Uh, neither are supposed to release in 2008. DQIX they already said is being held back till the Zenethia Trilogy has been released.

But what I understant is that they don't want to release their two biggest games in the same financial year. Can't believe they'll delay one of these until 2010.

FFXIII not being released till 2010 wouldn't be suprising since FFXII wasn't released until 2006 when it started development in 2001.
