The Sony version is the best. I can't believe anyone is saying any differently. Just look at the pics folks!

Screw Nintendo and their inferior versions! Actually on second thought, first screw inferior versions and then screw Nintendo. It would work better that way. Save the best for last.

I've only played the Wii version, but it's definitely the best of them. It has all the PS2 extras, GC graphics and superior controls, what's left to dislike? It's also one of the best Wii games, even though it's a last-gen game.

The Wii version was the best. But to anyone who hasn't played it yet, it's worth it on every system. It's in my personal Top 10 of all time.

i only ever played it on the cube. i had a go of it recently through my wii on my HDtv (which i never had when i originally played it). it doesnt look as good as i remember it looking. does this have something to do with the wii not upscaling the gfx? does the ps2 version upscale through the ps3? does the wii version have upscaled gfx?

You mean you played the GC version on your Wii, right?

Well the GC version does not support widescreen, but if your Wii settings are set to 16:9 it will stretch the game.

Also make sure your Wii settings are set to 480p if you play on a HD TV, that make a lot of difference.

Wii version is the best, I own the Gamecube and Wii versions.

I cannot deny that RE4 is an amazing game. I've beaten it 9 times on the GameCube and twice on the Wii... it's amazing what you can do with an Infinite Launcher and the Chicago Typewriter.

And of course, the definitive version goes to the Wii. With such precise controls and great added content, there really isn't a choice in the matter.

yeah im playing the GC version on my wii. ive got the settings set to 480p but it still doesnt look as good as it did on my SDTV, maybe its just the memory of it looking better.

was resi 4 for the GC 480p compatable? i know some first party GC games were, starfox assault (not a great game) for example looks great played through my wii in 480p. resi4 doesnt seem to have  the same level of sharpness.
