You don't know the Wii until you've played a Sandbox game on it. Try Godfather or Scarface (I recommend Scarface because The Godfather is such a boring movie). Then again, The GF has better graphics and some more to do with the Wiimote (from what I've heard) so it's up to you.

Buy Link's Crossbow Training so you can experience the Zapper and see how you feel with it. And if you're up for having your balls busted, download Ninja Gaiden, Punch-Out, and Magician Lord from the Virtual Console. It will hurt, but you'll be tougher from the experience.

You've got some good games on your radar, good for you, IMO you should get these before the big holiday rush comes and you won't know what hit you:

1. Super Mario Galaxy - Innovative, good looking, F-U-N, perfect
2. Mario Kart Wii - Only if you plan on playing lots of multiplayer ( online or not )
3. Resident Evil 4 - If you haven't played the original, put it at No.2
4. Zack & Wiki - Innovative, clever, fun, great sense of accomplishment
5. No More Heroes - Great fun, great battle system and controls, awful graphics, kinky

I can also recommend the eneloops. Not only because they last longer (both in terms of individual charges and life expectancy), but also because they come in white.

Funny thing is that you got a Wii and are playing ToS and Zelda Twilight Princess ,two Game Cube games.

Excellent review DMJ. I pretty much agree with everything you said, except that I really like Wii Sports. I've gotten at least $50 worth of enjoyment out of bowling alone.

No one has said anything about Boom Blox yet. Seriously fun game, as is Z&W which was already mentioned. I've even enjoyed Madden 07.

 It was definitely my favorite too. I never played the gamecube or PS2 version so it was new to me.

Enjoy your Wii and remember, we buy consoles to play games. So long as the games are good I'll give any console a chance.

Point? And I'm pretty sure he has the wii version of twilight princess. Does it matter if they are GC games?
