About the parades, well, I read a collumn from a well known gay in the Netherlands. He wrote that he was watching the parade with his partner as some sort of outing, when he was approached by a young gay man stating: "I know, you older guys love this. It's a statement, it's wild and it's nostalgia to the old days... For me and for us, it's growing a bit too much..."

So you can conclude that there is some sort of split between the older generation and the "attention seekers" (different demographs), and the younger, more reserved gay people.

That reminds me of the studies they use on homophobes to see if they are gay or not.

I've known girls that watch gay porn as well.

I mean, why not.  If you like seeing one naked guy, why wouldn't you like seeing two naked guys?

It kinda makes me laugh really and think about how someone will turn away real fast if they see a picture of a penis, yet watch some guy have sex with a woman in a video for like a good half hour.

I have nothing against homosexuality.
Actually, if I were single and some guy offered me casual sex I'd probably go for it...y'know just outta curiosity...

Seriously though, I do have a problem with homosexuality. Don't like it. Don't care to go into detail as to why. Rather not comment further.

Like I mentioned in the other thread that got locked, there's a lot of evidence that any time a group of people of one sex are stuck together for a long period of time, they start to have sex with each other whether they're gay or not. Prisons, pirates, the Navy, the Army, coal mines, gold prospectors, cowboys, etc.

And in a lot of harems, when the king or whoever isn't around and there's 50-100 women locked in a palace, they'll party with each other. This currently happens in some middle eastern areas where the women can't show their face outside. You marry 10 women, lock them up at home, and won't let them show their face outside, so they stay home and have sex all day.

But yeah, this doesn't make any of these people gay. Everything I've studied has led to me believing that the sexuality isn't defined by the acts but by the romantic/emotional desire/love/trust.

I'm gay and don't have a problem with it at all. A person's sexuality really isn't a choice, though. You won't find very many real people who will say they've chosen to be gay.. there are a few "ex-gay" religious wackjobs though.. like the two guys who founded the most famous "ex-gay" ministy, Exodus International. They quit the organization when they fell in love.. with each other.

I agree. I know this little kid, and I can just tell he's gonna be gay as the day is long, born that way. Gays are born that way, imo.

Good for you, admitting that by the way.  I was in a group event, where it turned a little too gay for my tastes.  I always thought I could handle anything.  I was wrong, when it's being offered, it's right there, and you know the other person is serious you never know how you'll react.  I didn't do anything sexual with the men.  However, I am also not the type to freak out if the streams cross if you know what I mean (swordfighting, playing the claves, etc. if you don't know what I mean).  Not that I particularly enjoy it either.

Needless to say, those days are past.  I can barely get out of a chair with out having serious pain never mind multiple partners.

Well that's the thing.  Currently it is defined by the acts done. 

Whether that definition needs to be changed or not is the issue.

If you base it on romantic,emotional desire, love and trust.  There is really no point in declaring straight or gay until you get your particular life partner down.  In which point, there is no reason to label it.  Since your unavailable anyway.

Which laws do you mean though?  Only one i remember off hand is the having to sneak into your wifes tent thing.
