Forums - General - Who's your favorite teacher, & why?

My favorite teacher ever was my 8th grade English/Media teacher, Ms. Kelsay. She was the nicest person you could ever meet, & had god-like patience with everyone. She was always there for me, and made the classroom feel a little less stressful then some other classes *glares at Mr. Traversi*

Hmmmmm....

My 3rd grade teacher was very nice.

My 5th grade teacher was nice and you could relate to her.

My math teacher this year was nice and extended my knowledge of math a lot.

My Social Studies teacher this year was absolutely hilarious.

....

I think I would go with my 7th Grade Math Teacher, Mrs. Schoen.

Dr. PSrock

He's taught me more things in the past week than I've learned in a lifetime.

This year's English teacher Ms. Eachus

She was really funny in class, like the time she gave candy to those that did their Homework

I really hated all of my teachers.

I am completely obligated to say my mom. So yeah, her.^^;

Anyhow, other than her, since that's cheating:

My Flameworking teacher (Taking a summer class, it's hot ; ;)
My Japanese teacher (Starting back up in the Fall, I hope I don't forget everything.)
My Probability and Statistics teacher (Sheesh, it's been a while since I took his class)
And my Trigonometry teacher (Been a long while since him, but he wrote his own textbook, and it was way better than any other math textbook I've ever read.)

I've haven't had a bad teacher at my community college yet^^;

Edit: Oh! With names? Hmmm, let's see if I can remember them.

Flameworking: Dave (All I can remember)
Japanese: Mr. Luft.
Probability and Statistics: Mr. Farjami.
Trig: Completely forgot his name.

Bah, edit again: I was supposed to say why I liked them?

My Mom: She's my mom.
Flameworking: He's a pretty big jokester, but gets the learning out in a fun way.
Japanese: He's just... cool.
Probability and Statistics: Funny, somewhat corny (in the good way), pretty easy when it cames to tests, but taught the stuff well. (I forgot it all though)
Trig: He was nice enough, his textbook rocked, and I learned a lot of Trig from him.

George Feeny. The man has sage advice for anyone in any situation.

But I had quite a few cool teachers in school. Hard to pick a favorite.

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

I have to say my English teacher this year: Ms. Crysta.
She was fun, has patience with us (unlike our french teacher who quit after a month), and was very kind.
