Show me where, because I have the Sony's financial report right in front of me. And it clearly states that Cash at the end of the fiscal year is $4.431 billion on page seven.

Really, you should learn to read a financial statement. $68 billion is Sony's revenue.

Do you even understand the difference between cash and revenue?

I like how some people think that just because the Xbox is made by Microsoft that they have a infinite buget to work with. Microsoft Game Studio does not have access to the $37 Billion that Microsoft has.

They are only given so much money each year to work with. If they had access to all that money don't you think they would be going around buying up alot more developers and making alot more games exclusive. I think if they were to walk over to Square or Konami and drop $100 million (or more) on their desk that they could easily get a couple games moved over from the PS3 to the Xbox360.

The same thing goes for Sony. Yet some Sony fanboys have said they should spend it all for a PS3 price cut. 

Nintendo has $5-7 billion and all of it is for gaming.

Sony as a whole is really not that profitable ... they have insane revinues but they make less profit than Nintendo ...

That's the projection of MS, they hope that Halo 3 sells well enough in its opening week to make the quarter july - september 2008 (which is the 1st quarter of their fiscal year 2008 if I am right) the first profitable for their H&E division. But seeing their willingness to spend $50 million for exclusive GTA content and wasting lots of money on marketing for their console and games, I think profit is a wishful thinking.

360 sales are also on a decline, probably until the release of Halo 3. Microsoft has just been to reckless with their money, that's why I don't see them turning a profit soon.


 I really doubt Halo 3 will sinificantly increase Xbox 360 sales. Already 10 mill have been sold, not too many people are holding out to get an xbox just for halo
