Also, didn't know if you guys knew, but the Avengers movie has been planned for a while, which combines 5 characters that will be combined from single movie installments(in theory with the same actors), 2 of which have already been released.

Captain America, Iron Man, Ant Man, Thor, and The Hulk. Sam Jackson is Nick Fury, if I recall the character name right, I won't spoil anything else. It's set to release in 2011, same year as the new highlander remake(woot!), which I made a topic about but nobody cared.

I hope they don't try to throw Wolverine in with those. They seem to be wanting to throw all the latest Marvel movies into 1 group. I'd like to see Spiderwoman or someone like that in the Avengers movie. I don't know. I feel there should at least be a female. Scarlet Witch is too much drama

Nah, it's just those 5, confirmed.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.

Avengers Disassembled, House of M, Civil War.... all crap.

Wow! Really? I could undertsand the first two. I too thought Avengers Disassembled was pretty lousy. I liked House of M but could completely understand if someone didn't. But Civil War?! That was Marvel at it's finest. Probably the best universe wide story anyone has ever told of the Marvel universe, Secret Wars included. Every time someone from each side tried to explain their position on superhero registration I kept switching my loyalties. Stark came out of it as flawed a character as ever.

It had the worst ending ever.

Also, i could enver get behind the pro-registration side.

It never made any sense. In the real world... registration... "kinda" makes sense.

In the Marvel Universe where you had things like the Mutant Registration Act, The Secret Empire and Red Skull inflitrating the Government it makes absolutely no sense for ANY superhero to remotely trust the government when it comes to registration...

and why did Reed Richards "go evil". He developed a Math problem that could tell the future.

Which... i did consider evil... him and Pym... as they CLONED THOR without his approval.

Yeah, cloning one of your best friends and then putting something in the clones brain to make sure it''s your loyal super biological weapon. That's what i think when I hear hero.

A mad scientists hero anyway.

Eh he was probably just a skrull anyway!

Wasn't Thor dead before Civil War started? I never really liked Thor.

Iron Man was kind of a douche throughout the whole Civil War thing...I haven't kept up with it since then but I was almost completely turned off by the movie because of Civil War. (Glad I watched it though because i thought it was badass).

Well yeah... but i mean it was fairly obvious he wouldn't want to be cloned and used as a biological weapon... considering he was throughly pissed the last time he was cloned.

Also, i hold no hope for the Watchmen movie... mostly because Alan Moore doesn't want it to happen.

I'll still probably see it... but usually for these movies to be done right you need someone close to the source matieral to help you out.

Alan Moore has never wanted any movie to happen, lol, he spits on Hollywood, always has and always will.

That said, 300 director = sucks by default. I want some 300 fans to come tell me that movie was good. I WANT them to hear what I said.

Well it's just not hollywood.  He's just against the use and merchandising of literature for anything but literature... or at least it seems that way.

He didn't want a Watchmen anything to my knowledge.   No action figures, no movie, no TV show... etc.

Yeah... I saw 300 on HBO the other day... really was just... not good.  I've never read 300 though so i had no clue who to blame as i've seen both the really good Frank Miller, and the really bad Frank Miller in the Dark Knight Returns and... just about everything he's written recently and everything else i've read by him.
