It's lookin pretty sharp :) I still don't like the chainsaw duels >_>; but everything else about it looks like a step up from the first game :P Definitely worth waiting for ^^

Gears one is one of my favourite games but I played single player mostly.

the multiplayer is A bit too challenging for me altough I am playing battlefield bad company online A bit.

What really has me intrigued is this line from the last page:

"Check back on July 14, the start of E3, when I'll be able to talk about the second portion of my day which was spent with a new mode for Gears 2. As fun as the competitive multiplayer was, this has the potential to be better."

 

What do you guys think it could be?  It seems to be multiplayer, but not 'competitive multiplayer'.  If they were talking about coop, I'd think they'd just say coop, so that's out.  Could it be a multiplayer mode where everyone works together against an unending onslaught of locust, putting those UE3 tweaks to gloriously epic use?????? I HOPE SO!!!!!!!one

Thats A pretty good review considering the hype this game will have to live up to.

I may have to give gears 1 another chance.. the sequel looks great.

 did you play it it is A really good game imo.

It can look A little dated now but it was 06 and way ahead of its time.

some of todays games have implemented some or other of the gameplay elements from gears 1.

looks very good, grafix are samey to gears 1 but will incorporate more effects with the updated unreal engine.

im worried regarding another interview with cliffy B in what he said there is 2 new maps?

will this game ship with all new maps or incorporate the old ones with 2 added to them.



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I tought the graphics looked much better on this vid.

gears one graphics were pretty good.
