Its curious how so many people dare to say stupid things as the DS catalogue destroying the PSP one or even the Wii one destroying PSP catalogue.

Then you go to gamerankings and PSP catalogue not only is superior to DS but far superior to the Wii.

I suppose logical thinking and links to gamerankings are only useful when wanting to demostrate something has better catalogue that the PS3 or that X game was rated better on a non-Sony plattform.FOr everything else ,fanboyish claims must suffice.


As for the original poster.

I wouldnt do it ,specially since you are loving your PS3.If you want to buy a Wii go buy it but trading a PS3 for it is losing money.The Wii has much less features compared to the PS3 and the difference of catalogue of games is already massive in favour of the PS3....plus if you have a 80Gb machine you can also play PS1 and PS2 games.

Wrong, this has been established as a talking point.

To believe these numbers mean anything, you have to concede that all ratings on that site, comparitively also matter, which means that many, many of your most commonly used talking points, like "MGS4 is worth getting a PS3 for" are wrong.

Not to mention, most of the Wii's games are exclusive, while the PS3's are multiplat, and include a vast number of sports games that not many non-frat boy gamers actually want to play.

Also, stopping at the generic number of "80+" is cherrypicking, but what's not mentioned is the virtual lack of quality exclusives on the PS3 compared to the other consoles.

You constantly try to slip crap in under the radar to defend the PS3 like intelligent individuals would buy your crap. Lucky for me, I was reading over your posting history because you were banned, and caught this BS.

Despite what gamerankings says, the PSP catelog consists of a lot of ports of PS2 games. It's actually quite bad when you get right down to trying to make a list of games that interest the common gamer. I feel gamerankings is a talking point.

That said, the PSP has very few games games upcoming that interest anyone, even PSP owners, while the DS has the best upcoming list of any console that most have ever seen.

Also, again, gamerankings is a talking point. Taste determines these things.

That said, despite the rancor, the PSP NOW only has 1 more game with a >70 percent rating on gamerankings, and 4 more with a >80 percent.

How long do you think that lead with last, with the upcoming DS release list?

Then, even by your own flawed logic, the DS will have a better catelogue than the PSP.

Just keep playing your MLB:06 The Show, though. It's as good as the DS, lol.

Activision has it right when they said they were bringing Guitar Hero to all relevant platforms.

Why not own both??? Have the best of both worlds??? I wouldn't trade in a 600 dollar console with quality games for a Wii, but hey, if the Wii is your thing then no one can stop you.
