I still play my N64 for Super Mario 64 and Yoshi's Story

Are all PAL versions of games slower (50hz thing?) or is it just the older ones. For instance I think I play my Wii games in 50hz because my TV screen cuts bits off when I change to 480i (and it doesn't support p at all)

Deepends on how much effort people spent creating the PAL version. These days it's usually not so bad. But back in the day... Sonic on the mega drive is so much better in NTSC. Damn you NTSC and your low resolutions!!
Yes
N64 ruled. Had Rare (which MS had to buy up) and the star wars games were incredible. Bought the banana controller green console with the expansion pack with the donkey kong 64 game. Battletanx rocked on the console. And for anyone to say 4 player gaming was easy on other consoles... bullshit. You had to buy extra stuff to play multiplayer. With the N64, when 4 of us played, then 3 others could just bring there controllers over and it was done. No need for extra stuff. Just like how easy Wii has made it for others to bring their wiimotes over and connect. And with the Conker Bad Fur Day game, it's funny but I've never played the full game before. We just play the 4 player with the weasels all the time. "Sprayed his ass everywhere". Best lines of the time. THAT was FUN GAMING!
Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.
Currently playing...

For anybody who questions the "reliable" statement about the N64, how many PS1's have you been through? How many PS2's?
I went through 4 PS1's, and my 4th no longer works. I've also been through 2 ps2's. Never had to replace ANY Nintendo system, they all still work.
And again, outside of the pc, the N64 was the first true 3d console gaming experience. Anybody ever try Quake on the PS1? Yeah, the system couldn't even handle true 3d...that was a MESS. (And also the only fully true 3d game on the PS1 that I recall.)

HATING OPHELIA- Coming soon from Markosia Comics!
Well, they did leave out that the N64 had some of the best games ever created.
