Nintendo's partnered up with a Japanesse phone company to allow for easier enabling of online play in Japan (online uses of the Wii) that shows initiative however keep in mind this structure actualy started almost a decade ago so in a sense the first people to have the concept on online gaming was Nintendo, the first to implement it was the PC the first console to use it was the Dreamcast and the first to be the self-proclaimed best at it is Microsoft... I still dont know why Xbox360 doesn't have a browser.

LOL.

^^You don't really need a keyboard for much.  You can leave voice messages and such.  I guess for typing in your gamertag the one time.  And there is one if you really wanted it but it is quite shitty I hear.

am i the only one who doesnt care about acheivements/trophies?

I could really care less about it though.  But the fact that they added "levels" to the PSN version of acheivements satisfies the RPG whore inside of me.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

It doesn't have a browser for the same reason the Wii doesn't play DVDs. Everyone has a computer and everyone has a DVD player. It's nice to have those features included but they aren't exactly necessities to most. Not to mention it's a pain in the ass to browse the net on a console if there's no keyboard and mouse setup. The real question is what's up with Microsoft not supporting keyboard and mouse? Big oversight on their part.

You can't use a mouse, buy you can use a keyboard for menus/entering information like the Wii can.
Actually, it's even better, because you can use the Windows key for the XBOX guide button.

IF they do this, I would want it to be in the form of added things for Miis... game themed shirts, maybe a game-specific item (like Link's hat, for example).

I don't want achievements per se, but something like that I would be fine with.

Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.

^ yeah, I wouldn't mind them either, but I don't care for them though...

Give me more online capabilities. Achievements are cool, but an online type of network like LIVE or PSN would be cherry.

What, son, what? New York, New York!!!

Honestly, i don't think i could care less about them. Nintendo have more important things to worry about, such as getting more games to have online components in the first place.
