I want to go for a walk through memory lane, so I thought "I'm going to go see if Steam has the old doom games" sure enough they do, but I have no idea what to buy. There are so many versions of the old doom, and I don't know what they are. I have it narrowed down to Final Doom and Ultimate Doom. Does anybody know the difference between these two? They cost the same.

I thought Final Doom was just an expansion for the original game? In any case, I know Ultimate Doom has the first game, the expansion, and some type of extra. I'd go for that.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Ultimate Doom is basically doom 1 with a 4th episode.. Final doom is 2 32 level packs for doom 2.

doom has been ported to everything, yes, even the GBA and sega 32x.
