Both Advent Rising and Killzone had a lot of hype yet there was no pressure to give them high scores

Well, first off how do you know there was no pressure? There are (approximatly) the same number of reviews for Killzone that are below 60% that are above 90%; putting pressure on some of the main sites may have prevented them from giving it a score below 60% ...
Beyond that, the other question is (as a publisher) where would you put pressure on reviewers; would you pressure them to give a below average game an average score, or would you pressure them to give a good game a great score?
Sites like Netjak, Gamers365 and Christ Centered Game Reviews drop some really bizarre review scores which is why I find it difficult to trust meta-review scores at all. Personally, I just check fairly trustworthy sites like IGN, 1UP, etc...
^thats what im saying those sites give weird reviews and GR and MC shouldnt count them in their average
Some of the weirder ones I suppose shouldn't be counted...
But I stand by my stance that not all reviews that are by the little guys are pointless. Most of them should still be counted for, they shouldn't be discounted as they give reviews you don't like.

You do know that video games are games, right? As in something that you play? An amusement or pastime?

He means that in MGS, we spend more time watching cutscenes than playing the game, which I don't mind personally.
