Forums - Gaming - does every game get dropped down in average by unknown sites?

looking at mgs4 it is now down to 92.5,i remember it was over 94,then some sites went and rated it lower,does this happen to all the games and why?

yes because not everyone thinks MGS4 is a AAA game

It actually happens because some sites work on the star system. And the closest you can go to perfect without getting there is a 4.5/5, or a 90%. And that's why usually they get dropped.

Just be happy the overall review scores are high enough to keep MGS4 in the 90%+ range

Review scores are just the opinions of the reviewers.  I think MGS4 is awesome so far.  I haven't beated it yet though

Also, Its obvious they are biased, after eurogamers " EVERYONE NEEDS A 360 BECAUSE WITHOUT IT HARDCORE GAMING IS DEAD" statement it made that a fact.

The team at Kojima Productions has at the very least set a new high-water mark for cinematic presentation that I wager any other videogame will be lucky to reach, let alone exceed, for the next few years.
Seriously, how can you give something an 8 after saying that.
