I got a feeling Nintendo at E3 will disappoint. Nothing more than a bunch of sales/population charts about how the DS/Wii sold and what not. TGS is usually when the goods for Nintendo come out anyways.

You couldn't be more wrong. Seriously, Nintendo HAS to announce something at E3, otherwise we have nothing too look forward to this Holiday. I highly doubt Nintendo would do that. Expect big news on the 15th.

Actually, you should sustain your expectations, allowing yourself to be easily blown away by their imminent epic announcements.

Nintendo doesnt attend TGS usually ,so I woulndt expect too many announcements there.Besides ,most hardcore Wii games have flopped badly so I doubt the developers are eager to put too much effort behind it.As it is cheap to develop for it will get some games ,specially given the casual market there is right now.And some spin offs of major franchises.

As for E3 Nintendo must have something to announce.If not they would be without a single game worth mentioning for all the remaining year and since Mk Wii and Smash Bros ...that would be the total amount of Wii good games for the year at two.Most of their major franchises are already out ,but they still have FZero ,Pikmin ,Starfox(although they havent ever developed a Starfox games themselves ,the first were Argonaut Software ,Starfox Adventures was a Rare project and the last one was developed by Namco ...I have some doubts with Lylat Wars).But not even one of these would make a great impact.But if they announce Wiintendogs or something like that they would keep selling like hotcakes to the current market that is buying their products.Theres too the possibility of Wii Music or something in the line.

Tell me some hardcore games on the ps3/360 that sold well in Japan that aren't MGS4. ALso tell me some hardcore games that flopped in japan on the wii from third parties.

Actually to end this argument I'm going to compare two hardcore games on both the ps3 and the wii. The ps3 game is the second highest selling 3rd party game on the ps3. The first being MGS4. The wii game is a spinoff of a big series, but still considered hardcore.

The wii game is the top selling third party game on the wii, and the ps3 game is the second top selling 3rd party game on the ps3 in japan.
The reason why I didn't choose the best selling game on the ps3 was because I wanted two games that have similar ratings, and are of similar quality. Now when people buy games do you think they say oh look its a nintendo game lets buy it. I'm pretty sure most people don't know which is 3rd party and which is 1st. If a game is good I'm almost positive it would sell well on the wii.That is because nintendo hardcore games do, so the hardcore base is there, just not buying any poor quality games. As for games like No More Heroes and Okami, I'm going to say that okami wasn't popular on the ps2 so why would it be on the wii, and NO more heroes is grasshoppers best selling game by around 5-10 times that of its previoius best selling game that was released on both the gamecube and the ps2. So why don't you guys deal with the fact that japanese games have more potential to sell on the wii than the ps3 or 360.
