I agree that RE just isn't a horror game anymore. Unfortunately Silent Hill blows now, so here's hoping Fatal Frame will give us at least one good horror game this gen.

Jeez....his biceps are almost bigger than his head. Just because the 360 and PS3 have both received muscular overhauls since last gen doesn't mean the characters have to, too! This does not bode well for Ada Wong, who'll probably look like a female bodybuilder should she have an appearance in this game. haha

Actually, the 360 "slimmed down" (from the old xbox) so it probably did cardio exercises on its wii fit while the ps3 did strength training

Yeah, I noticed as well. Seems that the series and the characters are maturing a little. It was weird to look at it and I didn't like it at first, but then I realized that it doesn't matter at all.
Now, I think he looks cools!

Definitely showing Western game character design influence. Keep in mind that the original character designs were Japan centric even though Redfield was still a "tank" character by their standards.

Having a more physically imposing protagonist may well mean that the game designers plan on nullifying that advantage by overwhelming him with literal mobs of enemies.
