I go for the best console at the moment....Right now thats happens to be a Sony console...i will admit though i have stuck with them for 2 generations now and feel a little biased and loyal...its my dog like characteristics i guess. Unless Microsoft and nintendo make a product i actually want, then I will pry stick with them next gen as well.....and I am not going with an EA unless it is simply a powerhouse over the other console and doesn't break like some console i know...

Edit: The reason why i won't go with EA is cause if they can't put any effort into there games, how does that reflect on how much effort they will put into a console.

The consoles i liked:

Nintendo: NES, Super NES, 64, Wii, GB, GBC, GBA, DS
Sony: PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP
Sega: MegaDrive, Saturn, Dreamcast

For history Nintendo, but for current console i have to go with the PS3, so it's a tie for me between Nintendo and Sony...

Sony as things stand now. Nintendo is the closest one to Sony, but they have way too much 'riding the old horse' with their games.
And don't get me wrong, it's not the 360 that puts Microsoft in last place, but rather... a little something else.

Sony. Because I like technology. Even if they don't catch on, Sony backed or designed formats are usually awesome.

Except ATRAC on non mini-disc audio players. Terrible stuff.
