I agree with Greenberg. They may Graduate to the 360. But I'd like to believe that they'd graduate to the PS3 instead.

Could be that my conclusion is flawed, but you can't be sure about that either. :D

 

The sales rate of the Wii alone would imply that the Wii is more popular among more demographics than any other platform, although you're correct that it can not be claimed that any platform is more popular with specific demographics without further information.

From my personal experience I would say that the demographic breakdown is as follows:

5 to 13: Wii
13 to 21: PS3/XBox 360
21 to 30: Fairly equal (with a large number of multi-console owners)
30+:Wii

Because all of the nintendo hardcore want to graduate? Also why would non gamers(parents,grandparents,etc) graduate? There are no games they want to play. This is bullshit PR.

By saying "No one knows which of the 3 consoles is most popular for adults for sure." your bringing in an arguement that can't be answered until after the fact.

It's kind of like "God is real, prove me wrong." You can't dissprove something that isn't there.

the mix that with.

"Everyone love shot guns."

First no tangibility and second a generalization - these two things can make any arguement useless when used incorrectly.

The correct word would probably be - "majority" to solve your generalization issue.

The next one is easy to tell someone to do but takes time for someone to do it. - Research.

Of course if your working on feeling you should let everyone know so they don't keep quoting you.
