By saying "No one knows which of the 3 consoles is most popular for adults for sure." your bringing in an arguement that can't be answered until after the fact.
It's kind of like "God is real, prove me wrong." You can't dissprove something that isn't there.
the mix that with.
"Everyone love shot guns."
First no tangibility and second a generalization - these two things can make any arguement useless when used incorrectly.
The correct word would probably be - "majority" to solve your generalization issue.
The next one is easy to tell someone to do but takes time for someone to do it. - Research.
Of course if your working on feeling you should let everyone know so they don't keep quoting you.
