The real question is which main attraction are you talking about? You could argue that last E3 Nintendo had 3 main attractions, Metroid Prime 3 for the "Core" gamer, Wii Fit for the "Blue-Ocean" gamer, and Super Mario Galaxy for everyone.
This year I would expect Kid Icarus or Disaster: Day of Crysis to be the main attraction for "Core" gamers, Wii Music or something unexpected to be for the "Blue-Ocean" gamer, and Animal Crossing or Pikmin 3 to cover everyone.
Something about Yasumi Matsuno's project and release date for World Destruction

Wii Music and Animal Crossing Wii are the obvious choices. I think those two are the potential 10M+ sellers of the upcoming games we know so far, and I think Nintendo are ready to pull the curtains back for both. So unless they have a really big secret game, I can't imagine what else could steal the show from those two.
"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
I'm hoping for an announcement of Metroid 5, not gonna happen though.

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

The reason why I said Wii Music is that the more casual titles need to be more touted, in order to get the mainstream press's attention. The hardcore games will be shown and given attention to, but they won't be the focus of the presentation. The gaming press will do enough for the hardcore games.

Im not trying to say anything against your comment. Im just saying I personally dont want Wii music.
And I think your wrong. They already have a shitload of Press attention I think theyre gonna focus on the hardcore titles.
I'm hoping for Kid Icarus with a Pilotwings type perspective for flying. Hold the Wii-mote like you're gonna throw a dart. Fire arrows and do anything else with the nunchuck.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
