I was just looking through the games database when I realized I didn't know very much about some of the consoles listed. I thought it would be a good idea to have a console database which described the consoles, had pics of said consoles with the controllers and peripherals, and possibly sales data for the older consoles. If we have it for the games why not the consoles? What do you think?

This is a suggestion which I believe we're discussing at the mod forums (I'd check, but sadly the forums have been down for days). I'd love to implement this idea because a lot of confusion can come out of it. Hell, I didn't even know that the Turbo-Grafx 16 was in there until I found out that it was also known as the PCE.

What consoles do you not have a clue whats what?

The only one that I have not heard about was the iQue. Then there are others like the PCE and Wonderswan that I have heard of but I don't know very much about them. Like Pichu said earlier it is really easy to look them up elsewhere but I thought it would be a good idea to have a database for the systems aswell.
