Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Namco has gone Retarded!!!

Instead of releasing the game before - GTA IV, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Assassin Creed, and Too Human, we'll release the game right after them!! It's freaking genious!!  Dumb ass mother &^*&^*(((... Someone has Namco has lost a few screws!!

" Here's the good news: Eternal Sonata is complete. The bad news? Namco-Bandai is holding on to the game until September, making RPG-starved 360 owners suffer through the summer."

Yeah don't they know Blue Dragon comes out in August? I don't understand their logic with this decision either Gebx.

Just Namco demonstrating a Sega level of market understanding.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

Microssoft can force them to stop this idiocy? lets hope so

Please do not talk like that about Namco. The makers of Tales Series deserve all my respect even with it will cost them some millions.

But one of the problems is a lot of games are releced in november. Of course, this isn't your avaerage year. Was dum,b to release their RPG after anopther one though.

I think nintendo is going to end up doing the same thing.

It will be released before Too Human, before GTA IV, before Assasins Creed, and probably before Halo 3. Though I think it doesn´t really matter. I don´t expect Eternal Sonata to sell well.

I can't say much, I'm not-so-patiently waiting for Fire Emblem 10 for Wii, which launched in Japan in Febuary (and has no release date for the year). :-/

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Why did you remind me of that? Now I'm pissed again. Curse you Nintendo!!!

I don't think it's such a big deal I mean you think people who were going to buy ES aren't going to when Halo 3, GTA IV, Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed are out. None of those are the same kind of game as ES (Mass Effect is an RPG shooter and is different enough). The Blue Dragon game comes out the month before so I don't see a problem.

It's not going to be a big 1 month hit anyway like Forza or Crackdown were because it's not appealing to the core 360 audience. They didn't risk trying to see if it does though maybe they should have, oh well...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
