The site shows a video with the characters and some footage, it's like the snes but in the racing part I noticed a better work with the pixels, also the page shows some of the info about the game:

Seems that the double screen'll be used for a quick direction (menus?) also the game is confirmed for 1-4 players (¿?)

Anyone know if they are keeping the FMV's from the FF Chronicles edition in there? I hope so.

QFT I wished the trailer showed the extra content though. Especially the multiplayer content. I want to see how they pulled that off.

I don't particularly mind that this is in 2D. It differentiates itself from DQ9 and FFIV that way, also, I don't think the art style (Toriyama's work) would translate well in 3D on the DS anyway. You'd all be complaining that it looks exactly like FFIV and that Toriyama's art was lost in transition.

Personally, so long as everything remains intact on this remake, I'll be happy. If graphics is a big issue for you (and there's a fair amount of you) then you obviously missed the point of why 2D gaming is considered by many to be the golden era of gaming and why the SNES is arguably the best console of all time. You've also missed the major draw of CT, the unique combat system, characters and story.

I already have chrono Trigger for the DS ... I'm being serious by the way, I really do have it!

This is on my must-buy list.

They won't show it because it is going to be awesome and we should already know that. Multiplayer???? That would be worth the purchase without a doubt, i'll buy two just to show my support.

I was just watching the FMV's from the PS1 version, I really hope they stay.
