FF is a cash cow so that doesn't suprise me.  S-E isn't sure if CT is popular enough to warrant several remakes.  I think CTDS is being used to test whether or not the Chrono series is still viable since CC came out 8 years ago.

A. 2d graphics doesn't make it a port.

Great games are great. Many people never got to play them. There's nothing wrong with giving those a chance to experience what they missed.

It's same idea as VC, only on different format/platform.

A straight port was all I wanted, even back during the heyday of the GBA.

A VC ROM purchase would have been perfectly acceptable as well.

As long as it's the same game I remember, and I still have my cart/SNES if I ever feel the need to set it up again as a reminder, it's fine as is, only infinitely more convenient to play as a portable game.

I agree whacker.

I've played CT god knows how many times, and I was hoping for a re make, not a port with extras.

I can justify paying 8 bucks for this on VC, but not 40.

Yeah, CT is ones of those games that get just as much praise as it did back when it was originally released.  Although I only gpt 1/2 way through, I can see why CT gets so much praise

Here's hoping for a budget price then. And since there not gonna update the Graphics (and they shouldn't) i doubt it will cost them that much, and so they should make it cheap.

My excitement meter just plummeted.

I've beaten it so many times that I'll have to wait and see how much they add to this game.
